Kalaiselvi Karunalaya Social Welfare Society KKSS, as it is fondly known, was founded 22 years back in 1983 for extending social service to the most downtrodden and the marginalized.
Our aim is to promote an egalitarian society where everyone gets an equal opportunity irrespective of caste, religion, financial background, sex or age. We targeted the senior citizens, women and children right from the beginning, who are the most vulnerable and so the most marginalized.

This has been our aim, motto and goal and we are confident that we are succeeding. We have received the Best Institution in Tamil Nadu Award in 1999. We have received a number of awards and appreciations from many sources. But, our best reward has been 55 happy children who have found safe homes filled with love, thanks to Kalaiselvi Karunalaya.
